“Where I Belong” By Tanya Chua
Wednesday, 23 July, 2008

I was just revisiting some of our previous NDP songs over the last few years, and I realised that the 2001 NDP song entitled “Where I Belong” written by Tanya Chua is brilliant.
The more I listen to it, the more I like it.
It’s a fantastic song.
Great job, Tanya Chua!

The song made me reminisce about songs of past National [...]

I am currently working on a new National Day song to be presented at this month’s Songcraft session.

It’s the usual [...]

This Year Got NDP Song Or Not?
Thursday, 3 July, 2008

Anyone knows if there is an NDP theme song this year? Seems like it has yet to be unleashed upon us.
There’s supposed to be at least one new song every year right? How about this year, 2008?
I’m keen to know who wrote this year’s song (if any). Have been scouring the official NDP website but [...]

Thursday, 15 May, 2008

Article from CNA website: “Celebrating the Singapore Spirit” is theme for this year’s NDP

This year’s National Day Parade is about “Celebrating the Singapore Spirit”. The big show will be held at the Marina Bay for the second year running. But organisers are injecting many new elements, to bring the parade very much closer to spectators. [...]

The Infamous “Jimmy Ye” Post
Tuesday, 7 August, 2007

I was looking at my wordpress blog stats today and noticed that I’d been receiving quite a number of hits from “starblog.stomp.com.sg…” as follows:

Huh??? I wondered.
Someone from STOMP’s starblog site must have been linking to one of my posts.
So I began to investigate.
And after a bit of investigation, I found out the answer:
Joe Augustin, one [...]
