I think I might go crazy the next time I hear someone say that “My Fair Lady” was written by Rodgers & Hammerstein.
It was not.
The book and lyrics were written by Alan Jay Lerner, and the music was composed by Frederick Loewe. See (here).

To me, the most beautiful unfinished song I’ve ever heard is the one in “My Fair Lady” where Freddy Eynsford-Hill sings:

The Library@Esplanade, Singapore’s first library dedicated to the performing arts, is truly a wonderful library.
I’ve only recently been discovering the wonders of this library, with its fantastic collection of music scores and arts-related books.
