Delightful fare that came in bite-sized portions, but didn’t quite manage to hit the sweet spot.
SO I CAUGHT the latest - and grandest yet - sixth installment of the Dim Sum Dollies in “The History of Singapore” at the Esplanade Theatre yesterday night.

I watched Wild Rice’s latest production, Jack & The Bean-Sprout! at the Drama Centre Theatre @ National Library recently.
Billed as “the GINORMOUS musical adventure”, this hilariously witty little musical (oh, maybe I shouldn’t use the word “little” in this case) is written by Desmond Sim, directed by Jonathan Lim, and features yet more original compositions [...]

Just watched “Little Shop of Horrors” (starring the Dim Sum Dollies) at the Victoria Theatre earlier tonight.
Hadn’t watched the movie before, so the songs and the plot were all rather new to me.
The book and lyrics are by Howard Ashman, and the music is by Alan Menken (one of my favourite composers).
