Schumacher had a dismal race at Valencia.

Massa’s race was nondescript.

Red Bull looks like it is still untouchable.

And Roger Federer just got dumped out of Wimbledon in the q-finals after winning the first two sets.

Great, just great.

Few things to get off my chest:

One, is there a more boring race on the calendar than Valencia?

Even Monaco is slightly more exciting.

If ever there was a circuit that deserves to be the first to go, it would have to be Valencia.

Secondly, this has got to be the quietest period of the sporting calendar year, don’t you think?

It’s the worst time to be a sports fan.

I think this is the period where sports fans go into hibernation.

NBA season over.

NFL season not started.

College Football season not started.

English, Spanish and Italian football league seasons over, not to mention Champions League tournament.

The only thing to tide us through these few weeks is Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and F1 races.

And Major League Baseball, if you follow that.

Next month is July, and July can only mean one thing…Tour de France!

I’ve been following the Tour for the last few years, and I look forward to following it again starting next week. =)
