I didn’t watch the Champions League final a few days ago, but I heard that Barca was just on another planet altogether, somewhat like the final in Rome two years ago.
In fact, some say this is the greatest football team ever assembled.
I’m no football expert, but I guess there has to be some element of truth to it.
My only question is why Barcelona lost to Real Madrid in the King’s Cup final just only last month, if they’re supposed to be the greatest team ever.
Anyway, I’m just wondering how the ’11 Barca team compares against Jordan’s ’96 Bulls.
That was the team that went 72-10 in the regular season, and had Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc, Kerr, Harper, etc.
No other NBA team in history has reached the 70-win mark.
To cap it off, the ’96 Bulls won the title that year while losing a total of only 3 games in the entire playoffs.
I’d still say that the ’96 Bulls were the more fearsome and dominant team.
In fact, they might have been the most dominant team ever in any sport, over the course of a single season.
