Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Maroon 5 fan.

They are one of my favourite bands in the world right now, together with U2 and Radiohead.

I think they’re really tight, and they write fantastic songs.

As a band you’re ultimately judged by the quality of your songs, and Maroon 5 has quality songs in bucketloads.

Their first album had songs like “Sunday Morning”, “Must Get Out”, “She Will Be Loved”, “This Love” and “Harder to Breathe”.

Their second album saw them going a bit more in the dance direction, but the tunes such as “Won’t Go Home Without You”, “Makes Me Wonder”, “If I Never See Your Face Again” and “Nothing Lasts Forever” are pure winners in my book.

And now they’ve just recently launched their third album called “Hands All Over”, and the promotion blitz is currently in overdrive.

I dunno about you, but I’m just not really feeling this new first single called “Misery”.

Have been hearing it on the radio the last few days, but somehow it’s just not working for me.

I dunno if it needs many more listens before I start to appreciate it, but honestly, I just don’t think it matches up to their other hits.

I think they’ve had better ones.
