Haven’t been writing about NBA for some time.
That’s cos I lost interest once the Spurs were out.
Anyway, it looks like we’re gonna have a classic NBA Finals this year, in the old Lakers-Celtics tradition.
I’m looking forward to watching the Finals this year.
I would have to say that these were definitely the two best teams of the entire postseason.
Much credit to the Celtics for seeing off both the Cavs and the smoking-hot Magic.
Mind you the Magic were coming off an 8-game win streak in the playoffs, i.e. sweeping their first two opponents, before losing 3 straight to the Celtics.
Bill Simmons used the term “locked in” for the Celtics, and I think that’s the best description yet.
The Celtics are playing like a team that’s firmly locked in, and I really like their chances this year.
Rajan Rondo is quite simply the greatest point guard in the world right now, and Ray Allen and Paul Pierce continue to make big shots in clutch situations.
As for the Lakers, credit to them for seeing off the formidable Suns team.
Kobe’s still got it.
He still makes some of the most incredible and unbelievable shots in all of basketball.
This Finals is definitely worth watching.
Cos I never support the Lakers and probably never will, I would rather go with the Celtics this year.
Go Celts!
