Tomorrow’s the 3rd annual Songcraft concert.
Everyone’s pumped up for it, which is very encouraging.
It makes all the preparations seem worth it.
I’m really pumped up for the concert too, cos this is the first time we’re holding it in a slightly more posh venue, so I’m really excited to see how things turns out.
There will be some inevitable uncertainties with regards to the concert, and I’m not really sure how many people will actually turn up, or how some smaller details will pan out…but I guess that’s what makes things exciting.
Apart from the frenetic preparations, I have been practising my songs like crazy the last few days.
Will be presenting two of my songs (both of which will be sung by my good friend B), and I have a pretty good feeling about both of them.
We have practised together and I really like what I hear from her, so I’m very excited about that as well.
One thing I really love about our Songcraft concerts is that the songs take centrestage, and for that one evening we get to share our songs in their full glory with the audience.
A few months back I was brainstorming on a title for this concert, and after one night I came up with the idea of “Originally Yours”.
Which is a half-decent title, I guess.
Or maybe I should have entitled it “This Is It” instead.
That could have worked too.
