I chanced upon a Guardian article (here) which drew parallels between the upcoming Hamilton-Button pairing with another legendary pairing.

I think we’re kinda getting ahead of ourselves here.

p.s. Anyway, I really like how everyone’s talking about the Hamilton-Button pairing, but as for the Ferrari pairing, everyone’s completely assumed that Alonso will handle Massa easily. Really? I remember they said the same thing when Kimi was about to join Ferrari, but look how that turned out?
I can’t believe Kimi is really going to sit out a season! His famed stubborn streak obviously holds true. It seems to me he’s cutting his nose to spite his face, but then again, I could be missing something here.
Hmm, for Kimi I guess i) money is not an issue for him cos he’s making tons of it (even for sitting out next season), and ii) he’s always been the nonchalant type, and whatsmore, he’s already got his WDC in ’07 so my gut feeling is that there really isn’t much of a motivation out there for him in Formula 1 anymore.
