Things have certainly gotten very interesting in the last few days.
Apparently it seems like Jenson Button will be joining Lewis Hamilton in McLaren, and it seems like Kimi is without a drive for next year (*gasp!*).
Now I shall try to pen down all my thoughts in as few words as possible.

Kimi
I know Kimi has a huge legion of fans, but personally I’ve never been much of a fan of his.
My own view is that he’s not as “gifted” as many fans make him out to be, with my supporting evidence being the fact that he struggled to constantly get the better of Massa in his 3 years at Ferrari.
(Bear in mind how Schumacher totally dominated Massa while he was still driving.)
If only Kimi had gone to McLaren for next year, and partnered Lewis for at least one season, then we can finally judge for ourselves if Kimi is really worth his salt.
But alas, it looks like we will never be able to tell.

What does it say about a driver when he has just won this season’s WDC title, and everyone is predicting he will get slaughtered by Lewis when he goes to McLaren?
You tell me.
If there is one thing I want to see next season, it will be how the 2009 world champion fares against his 2008 world champion teammate.
It will be worth watching F1 next season just because of that battle alone.
Oh, and also I wanna see how Massa fares against Alonso at Ferrari.
That would be epic as well.
