The year end period always sucks you into this accelerated time warp zone.
What I mean is that time seems to accelerate once you enter into November all the way till Chinese New Year (which is usually either Jan or Feb the following year), after which life goes back to normal speed once again.
I’ve got a feeling November’s gonna fly by quite quickly, cos now I’m busy preparing for the Songcraft mini-concert, which seems to be looming ever so near.
And I have an average of one wedding every fortnight to look forward to (all of which are good friends) starting from November all the way to January.
This is wedding season after all!
And then there’s Christmas to look forward to, whereby there’ll undoubtedly be lots of preparation to be done for church, including carolling.
And then there’ll be all the Christmas gatherings to attend, cos Christmas is always a good excuse reason to bring people together to party.
Then there’ll be the whole New Year’s countdown festivities and stuff, and everyone will be in a festive mood so time will pass by really quickly.
Then once we enter into the new year and start making resolutions, there’s CNY to start preparing for.
And then once CNY kicks in, it’s just non-stop visits and eating all the way.
(For me I’ve got one more additional thingy in between New Year and CNY to look forward to every year. That’s on slightly before mid-January.)
In other words, the year-end period just seems to suck you into this 3-month whirlwind whereby you’ve got so many things to do and time flies by so quickly that before you know it…it’s Feb the following year already.
For me I’ve got one more additional thingy in between New Year and CNY to look forward to every year. That’s on slightly before mid-January.
I know what’s that! :)
It’s also a time for all the catch-ups as usually, this period is the time when friends & family return from overseas to visit.
Yup, like Chin Hon! Let’s do a KTV session with him when he gets back.
yup, ok. yeah! KTV!
