“As I Lay Me Down” By Sophie B. Hawkins

Haven’t posted a song in quite awhile.

Let’s see what we could post up today…

How about this one:

One of my favourite songs of the 90′s was “As I Lay Me Down” by Sophie B. Hawkins.

I never knew much about her, but all I know is that this was one of the more amazing songs of that decade.

Tender, reflective, beautiful…all in one.

I’m not sure if anyone has ever heard of this song before?

Anyway, I’ve decided that I’m going to buy “The Best of Sophie B. Hawkins” when I make my next purchase on Amazon.

She had a few other hits such as “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover” and “Right Beside You”.

But I still like “As I Lay Me Down” the best.

Music at its finest!

They don’t seem to make songs like this anymore.

  1. I dig this song too! Kinda meditative…gd for the long bus rides on a sunny morning :)
