(A scene from yesterday evening’s free practice session.)
Choose one:
a) Grosjean is emulating the heroic feat of his predecessor Nelsinho at the exact same corner as last year.
b) Someone accidentally issued Grosjean the 2008 driver strategy instead of this year’s.
c) Renault is practising hard for this Sunday’s race strategy.

Haha! That was weird.
Speaking of weird, what an abrupt end to the qualifying session huh? Was actually hoping Williams could pull off a pole position since they are like my sentimental favourite.
Yeah Nico Rosberg was stunning in the Q2 session! (Anyway, Q2 is usually the best indicator of the car’s true speed, so I think that things are looking good for Rosberg tomorrow.) Besides, he did really well in S’pore last year too…so I suppose he has a special affinity for our S’pore track.
Yeah if not for the red flag, I reckon Rosberg could possibly have gotten pole position!
Question though is if it’s possible to pull off any overtaking manoeuvres on this track…I think that will be rare so it may have to be race strategy. Hopefully not of the Nelsinho variety. :p I’d be very disappointed with Frank Williams should that happen – but I’d think he has too much pride to stoop to such tactics!
Well, I guess as we’ve seen in today’s race…overtaking opportunities are few and far between. But then again, it’s usually the same with street circuits anyway.
