As mentioned a few posts below, I’m really enjoying listening to Keane’s “Hopes & Fears” album.
It’s fantastic.
My favourite song is easily track two, which is “This Is The Last Time”.
It’s one of those incredible songs with an incredible melody and “feel” to it that I just can’t get it out of my head.
And the best thing is that the lyrics are incredible too. Something which I can definitely identify with right now.
That’s the thing with great songs – everything just seems so perfect.
(“This is the last time that I will show my face, one last tender lie and then I’m out of this place”…fantastic stuff. Love it!)

Their music is more on the “older school” kind, if that’s the right term to use. Not bad.

Well yeah, you could say it’s pretty “older school”. Great stuff! Keane writes some really great songs.
ya, I recall the “This is the last time” part. I’m really bad at identifying who sang what unless I’m totally familiar with them.
I think my favourite song in the album would be “Somewhere Only We Know”. But think generally, the album has some good stuff. Hee…can borrow when you’re done?
Ah yes, “Somewhere Only We Know” is an awesome track too! Definitely one of the gems in the album. Sure, I’ll pass the album to you the next time I meet up with you! (And your $$$ as well.)
