I heard Billy Elliot is quite good, but never watched it before. I heard it’s showing in Australia (Melbourne) too.

Ah shucks, no more Carousel! Real pity. These kind of musicals don’t get staged very often.

The sets were good, but as you said, the music & lyrics weren’t that great. My friend & I felt it was more like a “high school musical” but with professional actors and props. Good thing I didn’t buy too expensive tics for it.
But Billy Elliot that I watched was very much better. Well, it’s by Sir Elton John!

Anyway, I checked and Carousel isn’t showing anymore.
