Somewhere in an idyllic and beautiful little spot in Singapore last Friday night, a group of songwriting friends gathered for one of the most magical nights of music-sharing ever.
It was certainly one of the most magical nights I’d ever experienced.
(Photos can’t do justice to the atmosphere we had that night. You simply had to be there to experience it!)
Anyway, the full recap of the event, complete with pictures, sound recordings and anecdotes can be viewed at the Songcraft blog (here).
Ivan also did a write-up of the event on his blog (here).
If there was one thing in my life which I’m most proud of having started, it would be the Songcraft Songwriting Circle.
No doubt about it.
It’s all about the music.
There’s just something so powerful about music which brings people together…people from all different walks of life, different backgrounds, races, cultures and influences.
There’s just something about music which brings people together like nothing else…which gives people that “magical” feeling which nothing else can quite replicate. Like the feeling of being transported to another world.
And that’s the power of music, folks.
