Songwright – A Blog On Songwriting

I’m very flattered to have recently been linked not once, but twice on a songwriting blog named Songwright.

The two songwriting articles in question are “Songwriting is about solving problems” and “Chromatic chords – A few options”.

I thought I’d mention this and also take the opportunity to introduce this wonderful blog named “Songwright” to everyone.

Songwright is “a blog and occasional podcast for songwriters”, and it is written by Tom Slatter, a music teacher and singer-songwriter with the acoustic indie duo “We’ll Write”. (More info can be found here.)

Songwright features some really intelligent and insightful thoughts on the Art of Songwriting, from chords to song structures to melody.

I highly recommend you give it a read if you’re looking for intelligent writings on the craft of creating music!
