Our first Songcraft session of this new year will be held on Friday 25th Jan, 730pm at the YMS Arts Centre.
The special theme for our inaugural ’08 session is “Love Is In The Air”, in light of Valentine’s Day which is coming up on the 14th of Feb, ha ha!
As always, the special theme is just an option. Everyone’s still free to contribute songs on any topic whatsoever.
I’m not sure what the attendance is gonna be like for this Friday, but all are definitely welcomed!
I’ve got one “Broadway” song which has been, like, 99.235% complete for the longest time…but I just can’t seem to find the right lyrics to complete that problematic passage which has been bothering me for months!
Also got one or two others which I’m contemplating whether to present or not, cos they are all…you guessed it, still not complete!
I think the easy part is always to write the first 70-80% of a song.
The hardest part is to complete the remaining 20%-30% of the song.
That’s just what I think lah.
