Songcraft Concert Is This Saturday!

Ok, this will probably be my last plug for the Songcraft mini-concert this Saturday.

The funny thing is that as of now, the official concert wiki page has a grand total of 59 attendees, which means there is only place for 1 more attendee. However, I’m pretty sure that somehow or other, we will already have more than 60 people turning up on that day (some might turn up unannounced)…which actually makes it redundant for me to plug the concert any more since we’ve already reached full capacity.

However, if you’re REALLY interested in a night of simple (and yet surprisingly inspired) original music made in Singapore, by ordinary amateur songwriters and musicians like you and I, then you’re most welcomed to attend the event.

I will try to find some extra chairs for you, but no promises!

And if you’re looking for inspiration to start writing your own songs, I guarantee that you will find it after attending this Saturday’s mini-concert.

The event is gonna be a simple, no-frills, and intimate affair, whereby the focus will be on the sharing of songs. No fancy band instrumental setup, or stage lighting, or sound system. Just a piano, guitar, and vocal mic. It’s as stripped down as you can get. No “superstar”-type vocals (although some of the performers can sing pretty well, myself not included). No virtuoso-type playing. No David Foster-type arrangements. No Bono-type showmanship.

It’s all about the Song.

(Put your name on “Number 60″ in the list while stocks last!!!)
