Our band plays tomorrow at Ben & Jerry’s at The Cathay. New name, new members (well, some), new songs. (As always, don’t ask me how the name came about. It just is.)

On Radiohead’s Grand Experiment And The Music Industry In General
Thursday, 18 October, 2007
By now I’m sure you must have heard the news about Radiohead’s massively bold experiment in they way they are selling their newly-released album “In Rainbows”. In my opinion, it’s the biggest and most revolutionary event to hit the music industry’s grand old standard business model because i) Radiohead is regarded as, like, only the greatest [...]
The “Pseudo Queue Strategy”
Wednesday, 17 October, 2007
Have you ever visited a hawker centre for the first time, and were busy trying to decide what to eat? And you look around, and you see a stall with a very long queue and you go “Ah, that must be one of the best beef kway teow stalls in S’pore…just look at the queue!” [...]
“MySpace Angles”
Wednesday, 17 October, 2007
I think one of the interesting things about blogging, social networking and the Internet in general is that you get to choose which pictures of yourself you want to put up. Naturally, we all want to post up the best pictures of ourselves. It’s only natural. But sometimes we take things a step further. Sometimes, these pictures happen to capture our [...]
Great Stuff
Wednesday, 17 October, 2007
I recently discovered that you can watch full highlights of all NFL games on the nfl.com website itself. That means I can watch highlights of the recent Dallas-New England blockbuster, as well as last week’s Monday Night Football epic between Dallas and Buffalo. Great stuff.

Monday, 15 October, 2007
Ivan the Rambling Librarian recently informed the Songcrafters that the Library@Orchard is celebrating its 8th birthday soon, and wondered if any of us were keen to write a song to commemorate this special event. Now the Library@Orchard holds a dear place in my heart, cos I used to go there to borrow books quite often. What [...]
Old School Song
Sunday, 14 October, 2007
Ok, this is weird I know, but here’s my current favourite song. I’m head over heels with it. You know how some songs have got fantastic choruses, but average verses…as if the verses were an afterthought? Or how some songs have got great verses but not-so-fantastic choruses…as if the songwriter ran out of ideas when [...]
SYINC
Wednesday, 10 October, 2007
There was this article on page 40 in the Gen Y section of the latest Sunday Times entitled “Get In SYiNC”. It talked about this 27 year old youth activist by the name of Ms Bernise Ang, who in Feb ’06 set up an organisation called SYINC, a network of youth volunteers in Singapore who organise events [...]
Second Song Completed…Yippee!
Wednesday, 10 October, 2007
Sat by my piano and managed to (more or less) complete my 2nd song. Now I’m all set for the next Songcraft session! All is right with the world.
