“MySpace Angles”

I think one of the interesting things about blogging, social networking and the Internet in general is that you get to choose which pictures of yourself you want to put up.

Naturally, we all want to post up the best pictures of ourselves. It’s only natural.

But sometimes we take things a step further.

Sometimes, these pictures happen to capture our faces in certain ways which look so much different from what we actually look like in real life. In other words, we look so much better on the picture than we do in real life.

I call this ”fooling the camera”, i.e. making the camera capture you in such a way that it totally misrepresents what you look like in real life.

I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Just take a look at all those photos on Friendster, Facebook, and blogs and you’ll know what I mean.

And if ever there was a definitive article which totally captures what I’ve been talking about above, it’s this one:

“Beware the dreaded ’MySpace Angles’!”
