Ok, this is weird I know, but here’s my current favourite song. I’m head over heels with it.
You know how some songs have got fantastic choruses, but average verses…as if the verses were an afterthought? Or how some songs have got great verses but not-so-fantastic choruses…as if the songwriter ran out of ideas when he reached the chorus?
Well, this song’s got a great verse and a fantastic chorus. It’s quintessential perfect pop.
And it’s sung by one of my all-time favourite Chinese female singers, Stella Zhang Qing Fang.
P.S. Yeah I know what you’re thinking…I’m super “old school”.

I must agree that she can reach very high notes, and yet is able maintain the sweetness of her voice. She’s also a very good talkshow host for the taiwanese program.
