Ok, this is definitely new to me. It’s a brand new feeling which I’ve never experienced before.
Today someone from the Songcraft songwriting group (namely Kah Loong) covered one of my recent songs called “Back Into The Arms”.

Talk about a new experience!
Firstly, I was surprised (and very flattered) that someone even bothered to cover my song.
Secondly, when I heard the cover, I couldn’t help but grin like a fool. It’s just the most amusing thing I’ve ever heard (and I mean it in the most positive way possible)!
I thought it was a great cover (of course what, it’s my own song that was covered, haha!). It tickled me on so many levels. Firstly, what’s with the “children’s laughter” part?!? Really cool. And also, I have never imagined that my song could be covered this way.

The feeling of knowing that someone actually took the effort to record a cover of your song is quite amazing. It’s rather inexplicable, but it’s quite amazing.

I did a cover for the song because I love the song very much. Nope, it is not meant to supersede the original version done by Jeremy.
Some children’s laughter & giggles were involved in the making of this song as I actually wanted to portray “children” as the object rather than boy-girl kind of thing.
Yep Shir, I agreed the voicing wasn’t done quite rightly.
At the end of the day all credits go to Jeremy for the song. Also thanks to Ivan for suggesting including of the chords.

Jerron, please don’t take Shir’s comments personally. She’s a good friend of mine and I believe she means no ill intent. (But then again, I don’t think you took her comments personally either.) Yeah, Ivan’s suggestion for including the chords was a good one!
