Roger Federer certainly was made to work for his 5th consecutive Wimbledon title today.

It was one of those games where you thought Nadal had done enough to win, but somehow Federer turned the heat on in the fifth set to close things out.

It is an awesome sight to see Federer turn the heat on.

I suspect he mailed in the fourth set by the time it was 3 games to nil in that set, only to unleash his full power in the fifth.

How many times in one match do they have to turn the camera on to Bjorn Borg’s face?!?

The Federer backhand is, in my opinion, the greatest shot in tennis.

How many times do we have to hear the commentator use the phrase “a glorious pass” in a tennis match?!?

Either Federer’s losing a little bit of the supreme dominance he once had on grass, or Nadal’s improved a lot recently.
