I believe this song made it’s debut in the “Revenge of the Dim Sum Dollies” in 2004, starring Selena Tan, Emma Yong and Pam Oei.
(Too bad I missed that show, cos I was working in London at that time.)
According to my family members who watched it, this particular number really brought the house down.
And I think that’s why the DSDs decided to rehash bits of the “parking pontianak” in their current show Little Shop of Horrors, which is currently playing at Victoria Theatre.
Never fails to get a laugh, this one.
P.S. Pam Oei does the best Malay impersonations…
