Y’know, I’ve seen my fair share of funny videos on the Internet…but this one really tops them all.

The Googlization of YouTube
Sunday, 29 October, 2006
Is it just me, or has there been a huge surge in the number of copyright video clips removed on YouTube since Google bought it over for US$1.65 billion?
I have bookmarked a number of YouTube music videos, but recently I’ve found that most of them have been “removed due to terms of use violation”.
And most of it happened [...]
The End of an Era
Monday, 23 October, 2006
Alas, we’ve come to the end of the most successful career ever in F1.
Certainly, the last two races of the season for Michael Schumacher did not turn out the way everyone had expected it to.
After so many years of fantastic reliability, it is rather ironic how mechanical issues have literally quashed Schumi’s title challenge, both [...]
What do Kimi Raikkonen and Steven Gerrard have in common?
Sunday, 22 October, 2006
I was just watching the Manchester United - Liverpool game awhile ago.
(Man U beat a struggling Liverpool side 2-0 by the way.)
And it dawned on me how much Steven Gerrard had in common with Kimi Raikkonen.
Let me explain…Both are extremely talented, young sportsmen. (Gerrard is 26. Kimi just turned 27 a few days back.)
Gerrard, on his day, [...]
The “City” Never Sleeps…
Sunday, 22 October, 2006
Notice how business names in S’pore are usually very uncreative?
For instance, what is it with the fascination with the word “city”?
There’s “Turf City”, “Great World City”, “Raffles City”, “Suntec City”, “Ngee Ann City”, “Snow City”, “Beancurd City” (the competitor to Rochor Beancurd), and now there’s the new “VivoCity”.
I’ll give you another example.
Take the word “square”.
There’s [...]
The Departed
Saturday, 21 October, 2006
I watched “The Departed” at the movies yesterday.
It was thorougly enjoyable.
I watched this movie because many were touting Damon & DiCaprio to be this generation’s De Niro & Pacino. Also, rottentomatoes.com gave this show a 93% approval rating.
The pace of the movie was fast enough to keep things exciting.
Due to the nature of the plot, there were [...]
Haze…or Smog?
Tuesday, 17 October, 2006
I was just wondering on my way to work today: What’s the difference between “haze” and “smog”? How come nobody uses the word “smog” that much? We all seem to “haze” this and “haze” that…
I checked the dictionary and both words seem to denote a condition where there is a high level of pollutants in the air.
Which [...]
Suzuka GP ‘06 - Heartbreak, yes, but yet there was a sense of acceptance to it all
Sunday, 15 October, 2006
As a Ferrari fan for many years, last Sunday’s Suzuka GP left me with a mixed bag of emotions.
Michael Schumacher retired from the race with an engine failure at the Degner curves on lap 37 (amazingly, it was his first engine failure since 2001).
It’s always heartbreaking to see your favourite driver go down with an engine failure. [...]
I’ve finally decided to start blogging.
Sunday, 15 October, 2006
I’ve finally decided to start blogging.
“Why?”…you might ask. Well, I think blogging’s a great way to express yourself. I think that’s why there are millions of blogs in the blogosphere today - everybody wants to have the freedom to express themselves.
People blog for many reasons. Some blog as a means of keeping an online diary. [...]
